OBHS fashion show a hit

In a dazzling display of style and philanthropy, senior class
president Olivia Gallo once again proved her passion for fashion and
community at Oyster Bay High School's annual fashion show held on
March 22. This year's event, organized by Gallo for the second consecutive year, showcased not only the latest trends but also a heartfelt commitment to giving back.

Gallo, known for her love of fashion and leadership, orchestrated a

stunning runway display featuring student, teacher, and administrator
models, all strutting their stuff in attire generously provided by local stores. Along with her leadership, Paula Norton, the senior class advisor helped in organizing this event.

But the event was not just about glamour; it was about making a meaningful impact. Gallo’s  dedication to giving back was evident as she announced
that proceeds from the fashion show would be donated to the Penny’s
Flight Foundation, dedicated to both finding a cure for neurofibromatosis and providing support to those currently battling it. Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder, causes tumors to form on nerve tissue. It affects countless individuals worldwide.

The fashion show, held in the school's auditorium, drew a large crowd
of students, faculty, and community members, all eager to support the
initiative. From chic streetwear to elegant evening gowns, the runway
featured a diverse array of styles, highlighting the talents of both
the models and the local fashion retailers who generously contributed
to the event.
