Anthony Gerrato joins Whitmore Group

The Whitmore Group, Ltd., a leading insurance services and estate planning company in the New York metropolitan area, has announced that Rockville Centre resident Anthony G. Gerrato has joined the business to support the company’s cost-effective solutions for business, education, healthcare and other organizations. Gerrato provides more than 30 years of business and management expertise that will support The Whitmore Group’s insurance underwriting and management programs for companies in the New York area and nationwide.

Gerrato’s background includes developing specialty programs at Johnson & Higgins in New York City and overseeing the commercial and corporate programs group at Alliant Insurance Services in New York. His expertise includes equipment maintenance and product warranty programs along with property and casualty products. He has managed a multi-line nursing home program and has served in a variety of other sectors, including school districts and universities, government institutions, banks and credit unions, research institutes and leading businesses.

Gerrato supports many charities, including the Friends of 9/11, the Futures Organization, the American Cancer Society, the Rockville Centre Community Fund, the NY Community Trust Fund, the Make It Count Foundation and the West Islip Lacrosse Scholarship Fund. He also has conducted more than 150 auctions to raise funds for these organizations and many additional charities in the New York metropolitan area.

Gerrato lives in Rockville Centre with his wife, Lisa, and children Bryan, Olivia and Sophia.
