RVC Library is friend to all

To the Editor:

I would like to acknowledge the Friends of the Rockville Centre Library, which funds the Museum Pass Program.

I recently visited the Museum of Modern Art with my son and his family. We were able to use the Museum Pass and save $100, which would have been our admission fee. In addition, we had a 10 percent discount in the cafe and gift shop.

The library has passes to several local museums as well as the New York Botanical Garden and the Intrepid Museum. Advance reservations are suggested for the Children’s Museum of Long Island and the Cradle of Aviation.

Hoping Hillary gets nowhere near W.H.

To the Editor:

In response to columnist Tom Suozzi’s ringing endorsement of Hillary Clinton (“Here’s hoping Hillary runs, and wins,” April 9-15), I would like to say that if Tom liked what he’s seen from Hillary in the past couple of weeks, he should relish the prospect of the next two years, when any revelation could instantly put her back in the Clinton scandal defense mode.

This is the future Suozzi is endorsing, apparently without even bothering to consider an alternative with less baggage or higher standards. He writes that Hillary is the only candidate who understands both foreign and domestic policy. He would be more honest if he wrote that the foreign policy she helped put in place is inextricably linked to multiple disasters on the international front.
