On Feb. 17, Dark Horse Tavern in Rockville Centre hosted its third annual Lord of the Wings chicken wing eating contest.

People from all over came down to prove that they were the best at scarfing down wings. They had 10 minutes to eat as many wings as possible. The winner was awarded a $150 gift certificate for the bar. There was also a contest for people to enter their recipes for wings to be tasted by a panel of judges. The winner received a $75 gift certificate.
