The Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce honored Pat Huber, founder and CEO of Better Home Health Care on Saturday night at its Taste of Elegance in the St. Agnes Parish Center. Portions of the proceeds from the event were donated to the Sandel Senior Center, the Rockville Centre Housing Authority and AMT Children of Hope.
About 200 residents sampled fare donated by more than 30 generous local eateries during the event. Entertainment was provided by Ace. Jay Post, owner of Happy Hostess, brought leftover food from the event to the Interfaith Nutrition Network’s food pantry in Hempstead.
