All-American

Trinity University Tiger Brianna Young has been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-America Team First Team and the NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-America First Team.

Young is the daughter of Kevin and Ginnette Young of Rockville Centre. She is a 2006 graduate of South Side High School, and was part of the 2004 and 2005 State Championship teams during her years as a Cyclone.

Young is a senior, majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing. She also garnered top honors in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, being named SCAC Offensive Player of the Year, also being selected to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI Second Team. The Tiger offense (56 goals scored) was sparked by Young, who co-lead the team with 37 total points. She scored 14 goals (six game-winners) and had nine assists.
