Bullies are not cool, they are just cruel

The month of November was Bully Awareness Month, and class 8-1 at St. Agnes Cathedral School helped contribute to spread awareness.

Each day during morning announcements, class representatives read a fact about bullying and offered a challenge to all students. The morning announcements also included information to let students know that if they are bullied, they are able to seek help from many people at St. Agnes — the guidance counselor, school psychologist, principals and teachers, as well as friends and family.

Additionally, the students wanted a creative and visual way to get the message out to everyone. A group of students designed and decorated posters to display about the school building. The posters included quotes to encourage people to stop bullying.
