Come get a 'Taste of Rockville Centre'

The Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Parade Committee announced that the annual Taste of Rockville Centre event is set for March 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the St. Agnes Parish Center.

More than 20 vendors will serve the fare, and there will also be wine tastings, microbrewery samplings and a large dessert and coffee bar. Additionally, Jerry & The Newcomers will perform.

The event will include a celebration of parade Grand Marshal Ellen White, who is the co-founder of Backyard Players & Friends, a  Rockville Centre-based non-profit that hosts programs for teens and young adults with special needs. The outing will also support the RVC Breast Cancer Coalition (rvcbcc.org), the Army Ringer Lead the Way Fund (leadthewayfund.org) and the Holy Family School for the Deaf (holyfamilydeafschool.ie).
