Criminal mischief

On Jan. 23 at 8:19 p.m., the manager of a North Village Avenue restaurant reported that someone intentionally damaged a computer.

Larceny

At 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 18, the facilities manager of the Rockville Centre School District notified police that someone stole a breadbox from South Side Middle School.

The manager of a Sunrise Highway store reported that someone stole an audio speaker on Jan. 18 at 6:34 p.m.

Property damage

On Jan. 20 at 7:20 a.m., the window of a construction vehicle was found damaged in the Morgan Days Park parking lot.

At 1:24 p.m. on Jan. 22, a motorist notified police that his vehicle was damaged while parked on Vincent Street.

Assault

A resident reported that her son was assaulted by another juvenile in the vicinity of 100 N. Centre Ave. on Jan. 20 at 8:20 p.m.

Unusual incident

On Jan. 21 at 10:27 a.m., a resident reported that he was the victim of a computer virus scam.

Leaving the scene

At 11:35 a.m. on Jan. 17, a motorist reported that his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while he was driving on Merrick Road.

A driver reported that her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while she was driving on Sunrise Highway on Jan. 20 at 5:27 p.m.

On Jan. 21 at 5:49 p.m., a motorist reported that her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while driving on Morris Avenue.
