Arrests

On April 6 at 5:23 p.m., a 31-year-old Rockville Centre man was arrested and charged with public lewdness, exposure of a person and second-degree obstructing governmental administration in the vicinity of Merrick Road.

At 2:45 a.m. on April 9, a 27-year-old man from Far Rockaway, Queens was arrested and charged with third-degree assault in the vicinity of South Park Avenue.

A 32-year-old woman from Ridgewood, Queens, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue on April 9 at 5:46 a.m.

Larceny

On April 6 at 9:01 p.m., a customer who was shopping at King Kullen reported that someone stole her credit card and used it several times

At 2:49 p.m. on April 7, the manager of Bagelry notified police that an employee used a business credit card to make personal purchases.

A Banks Avenue resident reported that someone stole a package from the lobby of her apartment building on April 9 at 1:06 p.m.

On April 9 at 2:16 p.m., a Brentwood resident notified police that someone stole money from her account by using her personal information at an ATM.

Assault

At 2:48 a.m. on April 10, two pedestrians reported that they were assaulted in Municipal Parking Field No. 1.

Leaving the scene

The manager of Storage Post Self-Storage reported that a vehicle struck a building guardrail and left the scene on April 7 at 4:10 p.m.

On April 8 at 10:35 a.m., a motorist notified police that a vehicle struck his car while it was parked on Sunrise Highway.

Unusual incident

At 4:38 p.m. on April 4, a Burtis Avenue resident reported that someone texted him regarding payment being due for an escort service.

A Banks Avenue resident notified police that he was the victim of an online gift card scam on April 9 at 1:39 p.m.

On April 10 at 12:32 p.m., a Lakeview Avenue resident reported that someone opened a bank account in her name.
