The Rockville Centre 11-12 year old girls softball team won the 2009 District 30 Williamsport Softball Championship, before losing to New Hyde Park in the sectionals. After defeating Long Beach in the opening round, RVC defeated Oceanside Fast Pitch in back to back games to earn the title. In the bottom row, from left, are Sarah Buckley, Allison DeNicola, Katherine Scott, Caroline Joyce, Sam Maselli, Jamie Moran, Lauren Hochhauser and Delia Karamouzis. In the middle row are Natasha Camarillo, Colleen Hudak, Michelle Hudak, Nicole King, Kate Karger and Lia Stamile. And behind them are coaches Rich Joyce, Ed Hudak, Roger Stamile and Manager Barry Hochhauser.
