Ducks plucked for diabetes

The Rockville Centre Lions Club held its annual Halloween Fest at Molloy College during a rainy Saturday on Oct. 21. The fest was the final segment of the Lions Club’s Ducks for Diabetes fundraiser, where ducks were sponsored by local residents for various diabetes and sight-related charities.

The fest featured craft tables, a costume contest, talent performances and the vaunted duck pluck. Duck sponsors were entered to win prizes for their donations.
