Kids at Hewitt Elementary School were among the first to get a special science lesson on Monday, when Linda Tanalski came to the school.
In a special lesson called “Tools of the Scientist,” Tanalski showed kids some simple, but important, tools that scientists use to figure out different properties about the world around us, like weight and density.
The kids got to perform hands-on experiments with many different objects. It was a fun and educational day for everyone.
