Every Sunday morning through Nov. 24, the Rockville Centre Farmers Market, organized by the Long Island Growers Market, brings fresh, locally made food to the village.
Dozens of vendors from across Long Island come to Railroad Parking Lot No. 12 on Long Beach Road and Sunrise Highway to sell their goods from 7 a.m. to noon. They offer a variety of specialty foods — everything from fresh produce and fish to pickles, spices and baked goods.
Pictured, visitors enjoyed a sunny day at the market on Aug. 25.
