Posted

About 150 people attended the recent Top of DeMott Goods and Services Auction that organizers said was very successful, both financially and socially. Rabbi Marc Gruber, Les Gilbert and Chuck Vining were joined by many volunteers as they auctioned off a handcrafted kayak, Gibson guitar, Weber barbeque grill, signed artwork and handmade decorative pillows, throws and scarves, as well as Yankees, Giants, Jets and Mets tickets, a weekend at a Glen Cove mansion, a window decorating service and a country club golf outing.

In addition to wine, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and desserts, attendees also enjoyed winnings from a 50/50 raffle and balloon and silent auctions.
