Hewitt Elementary students participate in food drive

Members of Hewitt Elementary School’s Student Council enthusiastically participated in an annual Thanksgiving food drive organized by the St. Agnes Parish Outreach ministry. Representatives collected nonperishable food items from the student body for distribution to local families in need. Mayor Fran Murray and Deputy Mayor Nancy Howard assisted the efforts of Sister Kathleen Murphy, who visited Hewitt to pick up the many donations. This is an example of how Hewitt’s Student Council members work cooperatively to make a positive difference in the world around them.
