Inaugural football clinic scores big

More than 100 8-12 year olds showed up for the first annual RVC Titans youth football clinic, held June 3 at South Side High School. The clinic, which was free of charge, was geared toward teaching the fundamentals of the game. South Side head varsity coach Phil Onesto and his staff, along with former and current Cyclone players, instructed kids on the different aspects of the game with an emphasis on tackling safety. However, the star of the night was former NFL signal-caller Jay Fiedler, who gave special instruction to the quarterback group.
