On Stage

Last of the Red Hot Lovers
Plaza Theatrical Productions brings a bit of Broadway to Bellmore, when the theater company presents the beloved Neil Simon comedy, “Last of the Red Hot Lovers,” for a brief two-show run. Middle-aged, married, and overworked, Barry Cashman wants to join the sexual revolution before it’s too late! The classic Simon dialogue will have everyone rolling in the aisles! Behind plentiful laughs is a tender portrayal of a decent fellow who just can’t succeed in sinning. This is a comedy that will linger with you even when the laughs become an appreciative memory.
Sunday, Jan. 22, 2 p.m.; also Sunday, Jan. 29, 2 p.m. $25, $15 seniors and students. The Show Place at the Bellmore Movies, 222 Pettit Ave., Bellmore. (516) 599-6870 or www.plazatheatrical.com.
