On Feb. 15, Molloy College hosted a Wish Celebration for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Alexander Perez, a 14-year-old Brooklyn boy with cancer, wished to see the Knicks play the Heat in Miami. But before his trip to Florida, he visited Molloy, where he was named an honorary member of the team, was given a customized jersey, announced the starting lineup and even threw up a ceremonial tip-off. And to top it off, he was presented with tickets to the Knicks/Heat game in Miami. Additionally, Molloy donated more than $12,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
