Nassau's public golf courses to reopen Friday

Nassau County's golf courses will open to the public again on Friday, including the 18-hole Eisenhower Park course and the nine-hole courses at North Woodmere Park and Cantiague Park in Hicksville.

County Exeuctive Laura Curran made the announcement Thursday.

Only online reservations will be accepted. Morotrized carts will not be allowed, and practice greens wil remain closed.

Curran said the county continues to expand testing to underserved communities, noting that new testing facilities have opened in Freeport and Hempstead, with more to come.
