National Honor for Hewitt Dancer

Zoe Roman, a fifth-grade student at Hewitt Elementary School, thrilled her school community when she was recognized at the national level for her entry in this year’s PTA Reflections Program. Each year, this program challenges students across the country to explore their artistic talents in an effort to help foster their intellectual and social growth. Inspired by this year’s theme, “Together we can…,” Zoe received an Award of Merit at the competition’s intermediate level for her submission in the dance choreography category. Hewitt school Principal Liz Pryke echoed the sentiments of everyone, when she applauded Zoe’s effort, commitment and determination in pursuing this remarkable achievement.
