Robbery at Chase bank

Nassau County and Rockville Centre police report that the Chase Bank branch at 120 N. Village Ave. was robbed at 1:52 p.m. last Saturday.

According to detectives, a man passed a demand note to a teller and ran off with approximately $3,500. None of the seven employees and six customers who were in the bank at the time were injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-40 years old, between 5’ 8” and 5’ 10” and wearing mirrored sunglasses, a navy blue Boston Red Sox baseball cap and a gray and black Northface fleece zippered front jacket.
