Rockville Centre businesses host life skills event

A free, in-person seminar from Rockville Centre-based organization the Backyard Players and Frenalytics invites parents and special education teachers across Long Island to learn how interactive software can make learning fun and engaging for people with unique needs.

Frenalytics, a cognitive therapy and personalized learning software organization, will show how the FrenalyticsEDU system provides students with autism, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities with personalized educational sessions. The Backyard Players will host the life-skills event at their headquarters at 215 N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will focus on reinforcing important life skills and academic concepts such as hygiene, telling time, reading comprehension, money, and familial relationships.
