Hal Peterson says goodbye

To the Editor:

This is to advise the readers of the Rockville Centre Herald that my columns, focusing on the need to reform New York state politics — 56 in total, dating back to August 2010 — will no longer be published in the paper.

All of my columns can be found at www.reformalbanynowregistry.com.

The timing of this decision couldn’t be worse, given what’s going on currently in Albany. All is not lost, however. In the future, you can look forward to the publication of my columns in conjunction with the Sunlight Foundation — a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded in 2006 with the goal of increasing transparency and accountability at all levels of government.
