Rockville Centre school district staff tapped for tenure, commended for mentoring

Sixteen Rockville Centre school district employees were appointed to tenure at the school board meeting on May 25.

Among those teachers were Jennifer Cino, Kristen Clancy, Christine Dodd, Vincent Falivene, David Ferrone, Rosalia Frangatos, Matthew Greenberg, Holly November, Christopher Riccardi, Todd Russo, Cynthia Vitere and Herbert Weiss.

Administrators John Murphy and Brett Rosenthal and central office staffer Veronica Lalo also received tenure.

Teachers who were recognized for their service as mentors to new teachers included Silvia Bonanno, Alejandra Kaplan, Marie LaSorsa, Elizabeth Lindner, Jennifer May, Christopher Riccardi, Jeff Rubenfeid, Maria Schneider, Sharon Sierra, Kerry Toomey and Patrice Williams.
