Driving in the Safe Lane

The public is welcome as The Community Parent Center takes its highly acclaimed “Driving in the Safe Lane” program to South Side High School on May 24 at 7 p.m. The 90-minute lecture brings together police, a pediatrician and the mother of a teen driver who was tragically killed when driving with friends. The program educates teens about safety measures, New York State driving laws and parental responsibilities.

RVC Youth Council

Teens and adults in the community are welcome to attend the council’s next meeting, at 7 p.m. in the Rockville Centre Public Library’s downstairs meeting room on May 25. On June 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rec Center, the council invites the public to an open house.

Centre Stage Performance

The public is invited to a theatrical collaboration of South Side High School’s special education and general education students at the school on May 27 at 7 p.m.
