Schools from all over Nassau County participate in the Trivia Challenge and raised significant funds for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (ucpn) to benefit the programs and services it provides for more than 1,800 children and adults challenged by disabilities.

The 2011 Trivia Challenge finals were held during the week of Feb. 7th at ucpn offices in Roosevelt. St. Agnes Cathedral School students who participated in the 6th grade category were Sean Sullivan, Nick Cagliuso, Pierce Lewin and Joseph Graham. Winners of the Challenge in the 8th grade category were Liam Brosnan, Michael Buckheit, Jonathan Hall and Liam Hogan.

“It was so wonderful to have students from St. Agnes Cathedral School participating in the Trivia Challenge event,” said Pat Quinn, ucpn’s community outreach manager who is a Rockville Centre resident. “I was proud of all of them for their impressive knowledge and the fundraising they did on behalf of our agency.”  Once again, the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) generously sponsored the event.
