The Rockville Centre/Lakeview Economic Opportunity Commission, which runs a HeadStart program, a summer program, as well as a number of social service programs year long, hosted a Field Day open to the community at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on a beautiful Wednesday — the 10th — of August.
The afternoon’s events included athletic activities, slides, face painting, a visit from Fluffy the Clown and refreshments. The mayor and village administrator dropped by to chat with EOC staff and their guests.
