South Side MS stands up to bullying

Last month, South Side Middle School held its first Anti-Bullying Day, when students and staff took the pledge to publicly unite to end bullying.

Students learned about the damages of bullying and took the Anti-Bullying Pledge. As a sign of their taking the pledge, students signed a star that was attached to a 30-foot banner.

The activities culminated when the entire school, wearing blue shirts to symbolize their stance against bullying, gathered on the school track for a picture.
