Nassau County police are searching for two suspects who are wanted in connection with a string of larcenies on Dec. 7.

According to authorities, a man and a woman entered three boutiques in almost two hours and stole personal property from employees.

At 3 p.m., they entered the Lucky Finds Boutique on North Park Avenue, distracted the employee and removed the victim’s wallet from a restricted area of the store, said police.

The same suspects entered Illuminations Boutique on Sunrise Highway at 4:15 p.m. and distracted the worker. The female suspect was seen exiting an employee-only area, where the victim’s wallet was removed, according to the police report. The wallet contained personal property and credit cards.

A half-hour later, the male and female visited Stellar Jay Boutique on Merrick Road. They asked to use the restroom, one at a time, as the other suspect distracted the employee. The suspects are seen on video removing property from the victim’s wallet in the back room of the store, according to police.

The suspects are described as a black male who wore a baseball cap, blue jacket and dark pants, and a black female who was dressed in a black baseball cap, black hooded jacket and black pants.
