On Friday, the Rockville Centre Library hosted a Trunk or Treat event for children to give them a bit of Halloween fun. Cars were parked in the library’s parking lot, with the trunks decorated, while children went from trunk to trunk to get treats. After a morning of rain, the afternoon event was a nice escape for families, who registered in 15-minute time slots to participate in the socially-distanced event.
