Workers at Rockville Centre McDonalds robbed at gunpoint

Nassau County detectives said an unidentified man robbed workers at the McDonald’s on Sunrise Highway on July 28.

According to police, the man entered McDonald’s at 10:15 on Wednesday night and demanded money from three employees at the counter.

The suspect, who police said carried a black handgun, was given cash and the victims’ Blackberry cell phones.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, 5’11” tall, with a stocky build, dark complexion, beard, wearing a white tank top, multicolored shorts, white sneakers and a dark colored hat. Police said he fled on foot.

There were no patrons in the restaurant at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.
