Public invited to education forum on March 16

An education forum, “Reclaiming Public Education in New York State,” will be held on Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m. at Levittown Hall, 200 Levittown Parkway in Hicksville.

This forum is open to parents, students, educators and concerned community members. The speakers will include Carol Burris, principal of South Side High School in Rockville Centre; Dr. Joseph Rella, superintendent of the Comsewogue School District; John Lipani, an educator in the Levittown School District; Beth Dimino, an eighth-grade science teacher in the Comsewogue School District; and Jeannette Deutermann, founder the of Long Island Opt-Out Facebook group.
