Roshan Reddy, Jerry Reyes and Nicholas Williams, Lawrence High School students all, were named semifinalists on Oct. 17, in the prestigious 2017 Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology.
The students were mentored by Lawrence High science research teacher Rebecca Isseroff.
Every year, students submit innovative individual and team research projects to regional and national levels of competition as they vie for college scholarships ranging from $1,000 up to $100,000. For the first time ever this year, a new prize structure ensures that national finalists will receive a minimum of $25,000.
