For more than four decades, Friends of Bridge has been serving Valley Stream to help people and families that are coping with substance abuse problems. Those problems can’t be solved without the backing of the community.

Francis X. Becker, an original member of the Nassau County Legislature, is running for re-election to represent the 6th District. The Republican from Lynbrook was first elected in 1995. He is being challenged by Anthony Gonzalez, a Democrat from Valley Stream.
