While attending Sewanhaka High, Jamel Ramsay had been a four-sport student athlete playing football, basketball, lacrosse, and track and field. He continued his education at C.W. Post on a football scholarship, where he became a three-year starter. His team went on to win three Conference Championships and also played twice in the NCAA playoffs. While at C.W. Post, Jamel maintained a 3.7 grade point average. After graduating, he was asked to stay and coach wide receivers for the C.W. Post Pioneers. He also continued his football career for three years in the Arena Football league. As his brother, Jamel is passionate about education and all its benefits.

Instruction at 1-to1 Tutoring is offered for a variety of subjects, grades and levels at hourly fees. Included are Math, Science, English, Reading, and SAT preparation. The tutoring center is divided into seven partitions with computers that are linked to the Internet. Tutors work with white boards, which are used to help students with problems and lessons in a setting similar to a classroom. “Our SAT preparation and our summer enrichment courses offer a great learning atmosphere geared to meet all student needs,” added Darnell Ramsay.

Call anytime for hours and rates. Each student is handled on a customized basis.
