Partly Cloudy Police seek Valley Stream robbery suspects
Nassau County Police are looking for the men who robbed two teenagers in the north side of Valley Stream earlier this week.
Two males, 18 and 16, were walking on North Central Avenue near Ethel Street on April 1 at 4:50 p.m. when they were approached by an unknown man. Police say the robber demanded the 18-year-old’s jacket and tried to pull it off. The two teens ran across the street and were accosted by a second robber, who grabbed the victim’s hat. The two men then fled west on Ethel Street.
No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a black male with a heavy build and corn rows. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-6. No further description was available. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
