This October, lifelong Rockville Centre resident, A. Thomas Levin was named a New York Super Lawyer by a committee of his peers. Every year, only five percent of New York’s lawyers are given this distinction, and Levin has earned it multiple times.

Levin was born and raised in Rockville Centre, and currently serves as its village attorney. He has held this position for the past 10 years. He and his two daughters are South Side High School graduates. His father, the late Irving Levin was acting village justice and also served as counsel for the Village Board of Zoning Appeals and the Village Urban Renewal project.

Levin is currently representing Central Synagogue of Nassau County and Reconstructionist Congregation Beth Emeth on a pro bono basis during their ongoing consolidation. Other current clients of his include Central Presbyterian Church, the North Shore Hebrew Academy and the Muhammadi Masjid Mosque in Elmont.

"Tom Levin has been a trusted advisor and counsel to the Village of Rockville Centre for over ten years," said Rockville Centre Mayor Francis Murray.  "Our residents have been well served by his attentiveness and hard work on our behalf. He is an outstanding litigator with a true sense of fairness and ethical conduct. We are fortunate to have him as part of our team."
