The village of Valley Stream held its annual tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 10 outside of Village Hall. There was a musical performance from Central High School Tri-M honor society students, treats and a chance for children to send their letters to Santa.
On Dec. 6, officials from the Knights of Columbus, village, town and state dedicated the Nativity scene at Station Plaza along Sunrise Highway.
