More than 170 people attended the Central High School Alumni Association dinner last Saturday at the Coral House in Baldwin. Graduates from all classes, 1929 to 2009, were invited to celebrate the school’s 80th anniversary.
Alumni Association President Jeannine Principe-Puleo, who chaired the event, said the 50/50 raffle helped raise more than $400 for scholarships. “The whole night went great,” Principe said. “We had a Frank Sinatra like singer, so it was very nice.”
