After-school activities canceled in Valley Stream

Due to today's snowstorm, which is expected to drop up to 10 inches of snow on Nassau County by Wednesday morning, after-school activities have been canceled throughout Valley Stream.

The Central High School District has canceled all events, including adult education classes.

District 13 announces that all afternoon and evening activities are canceled, including the Board of Education's committee meeting. District 24's after-school events are all canceled.

District 30 has canceled all after-school clubs and academies. The Y program will remain open, but parents are encouraged to pick their children up as early as possible.
