Richie Snyder and Marty Kielawa served as the color guard for Post 854’s annual Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, the time when services were held all across the country.

American Legion Post 854 held its annual Veterans Day service on Nov. 11. The members paid tribute to all those who have served in the armed forces and made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
It was Ron Feltington’s first ceremony as the post commander. Other speakers included Vice Commander John Faust, Past Commander George Schuchman, Ladies Auxiliary President Fran Marsh, Edward Nachreiner and Victor La Torre.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the American Legion.
