Cab driver robbed in North Valley Stream

A taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint in North Valley Stream Thursday morning.

According to 5th Precinct police, two passengers were in a cab from the Jamaica train station to Long Island, when they instructed the driver to stop in the vicinity of Bell Court and Dana Avenue on Nov. 18 at 6:40 a.m. One of the passengers took out a gun and demanded the driver’s wallet and phone. The driver was then ordered out of the vehicle, and the two suspects drove off in the cab.

The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a red jacket and baseball cap, armed with a silver revolver. The second suspect is described as a black male wearing a black jacket and baseball cap.

The vehicle is a black 2001 Lincoln Town Car, license plate T524924C. The driver was uninjured.
