Deliveryman robbed in Valley Stream

A Chinese food deliveryman was robbed in Valley Stream on Wednesday night. According to 5th Precinct Police, a unknown male approached the deliveryman on Orchard Place and demanded money. He was armed with a handgun.
The victim hand over cash and the subject fled on foot southbound towards Cedar Street. The deliveryman was not hurt.
The robbery occurred at 7:09 p.m. on Nov. 3. The suspect is described a male, unknown race, 5-foot-7, wearing a light-colored mask over his face, a gray-hooded sweat jacket with a baseball cap and blue jeans.
No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
