Discussion on V.S. in the post-Trump era

The Valley Stream Justice Project, a local social-justice non-profit, is holding a discussion via Zoom on the topic “Valley Stream in the post-Trump era.” The event is scheduled for Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.

Billed as a follow-up to a similar discussion in May, the meeting is intended to touch on successes in anti-racism efforts in the neighborhood over the past year and strategies moving forward, as well as provide an opportunity for residents to share their own experiences with racism.

Attendees are invited to discuss what kinds of changes they’d like to see in Valley Stream and come up with ways to make them reality.
