Family Fun

Art Adventures
Art making and storytelling combine when Nassau County Museum of Art welcomes families to a special day at the Art Space. Led by museum docents, kids can create art and poetry inspired by Robert Searle’s whimsical illustrations and fanciful rhymes by Robert L. Forbes in “Let’s Have a Bite! A Banquet of Beastly Rhymes,” the current exhibition at the Art Space. Forbes’ funny poems and Searle’s quirky drawings will springboard the imagination, suggesting amusing rhymes and forms that kids can create on their own.
