Furniture store robbed in North Valley Stream

Nassau County Police are seeking two suspects who robbed a furniture store in North Valley Stream last Wednesday evening. According to police, two men entered James Furniture and 1569 Dutch Broadway, armed with handguns.

Once inside, the robbers confronted the victims, the 35-year-old male owner and his father. They demanded money and fled with about $300 cash. They robbers fled in a gold or brown Nissan Maxima with chrome rims and mirror-tinted side windows, which was being driving by a third person. The vehicle was last seen headed south on Edwards Boulevard.

There were no customers inside the store at the time, an no one was hurt.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-5, wearing black clothing and a black ski mask. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-8, wearing a black clothing and a black ski mask.
