The Long Island Rail Road trestle isn’t the liveliest of areas, but members of Envision Valley Stream and a few other community members sought to bring some life to the area on April 28 by adding some color.
The group finished painting the trestle between Horton and Satterie avenues after starting the project two years ago. In the middle, there is now a mural that reads “On the trail of the rising sun.”
