Grateful for successful fireworks show

To the Editor:
On behalf of the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Fourth of July fireworks event.
Many thanks go to all who helped make it a great evening, especially our Chamber members who manned the gates for hours, Mayor Fare and village trustees, Village Clerk Bob Barra, the village staff, the auxiliary police, the Fire Department, the Nassau County Police Department, our entertainers, Bethlehem Assembly Youth Group which planned games for the children, our sponsors and the man who pulls it all together, Vinny Ang.
The fact that so many people can come together to celebrate without incident is a testament to our community. It should make you proud to be a Valley Streamer. The Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce thanks you for making this year’s event a success.
