The Green Hornets youth football league hosted its Bob Hawkey Memorial Homecoming celebration last Sunday afternoon at Firemen’s Field. The football field there is named in honor of the late Hornets coach.
Seven games were played on the day, and Green Hornets teams won four. Hannah DeLeon sang the National Anthem and the cheerleaders performed a halftime dance routine.
